Suzani kilims are emblematic textile pieces from Central Asia, renowned for their artisanal richness and symbolism. The word "Suzani" comes from the Persian term "suzan," which means "needle," highlighting the delicate art of hand embroidery. These kilims are distinguished by complex floral patterns, often adorned with rosettes, vine leaves, and protective symbols, reflecting traditions passed down from generation to generation.


Our colorful Afghan Kilim rugs are the result of exceptional long work by Afghan weavers. The wool from Ghazni has been hand-spun, then dyed using plants for an exceptional color palette. The weavers from the region of Maimana, in Northern Afghanistan, subsequently create true masterpieces while perpetuating an ancestral know-how known worldwide. 

Our colorful Afghan kilims, characterized by traditional geometric patterns, feature a very beautiful and rich color palette that will brighten up your interior.

Of exceptional quality, the Maimana kilims are woven in such a way as to be extremely robust and durable to be passed down from generation to generation. Thanks to their flat weave and resistance, they are very easy to maintain, and as such, can be placed anywhere in the house (hallway, entrance, dining room, bedroom, living room, etc.).

Maintenance is very simple:
• Vacuum regularly without a rotating abrasive brush.
• Rotate the rug from time to time, especially if exposed to sunlight, to avoid uneven discoloration.
• In case of stains, clean with mild soap (such as diluted black soap) and a damp cloth.
• For stubborn stains, use baking soda powder, let it sit, then vacuum.

Wool Textiles (cushions, throws, etc.)
• Never machine wash.
• Hand wash in cold water, without rubbing.
• For optimal cleaning, entrust them to a professional dry cleaner accustomed to artisanal textiles.

Furniture and Decorative Objects
• A slightly damp soft cloth is sufficient.
• Avoid conventional detergents: we use noble and natural materials (raw wood, brass, tadelakt, zellige, etc.), which do not tolerate harsh products.
