AFGHAN KILIMS & SUZANI KILIMS

Our collection of rug Afghan kilims is composed of Suzani kilims and classic kilims. The rug Suzani kilims are characterized by their handmade embroidery. The classic Maimana kilims are characterized by their traditional geometric patterns and their very wide range of colors.

The Afghan kilims are the result of a fabulous and long artisanal work. From spinning the wool, through its coloring with plants, to its weaving: everything has been perfectly handmade and with love by Afghan artisans. 

As a reminder, the kilims are a method of flat weaving from the East dating back several thousand years. These rug robust and durable are extremely easy to maintain.
