Nos tapis Béni Ouarain sont tissés par les femmes de la tribu Béni Ouarain habitant les montagnes de l’Atlas au Maroc. Cette tribu est réputée pour produire l’une des meilleures laines au monde et leurs tapis ont une texture remarquablement douce et moelleuse. Chacun de nos tapis béni Ouarain sélectionné avec soin a été tissé nœud par nœud selon les techniques ancestrales transmises de mère en fille à travers les générations.

La tribu Beni Ouarain utilise traditionnellement de la laine brute, c'est pourquoi il est plus fréquent de voir ces tapis dans des coloris blanc/crème avec des motifs naturels noirs ou bruns créés par la laine des moutons noirs du troupeau. Aujourd’hui les tisseuses jouent d’une plus grande liberté artistique en usant de couleurs à base de pigments naturels, raison pour laquelle nous avons pour notre plus grand bonheur de jolis tapis Béni Ouarain colorés et épais.

Les tapis béni Ouarain sont historiquement réalisés à partir de laine non teinte, celle-ci doit donc être de la plus haute qualité. C’est la raison pour laquelle les tisseuses se concentrent également sur le processus en amont du tissage qui consiste au travail de la laine.

Chacun de nos tapis Béni Ouarain colorés, noir et blanc ou neutres sont de véritables œuvres d'art qui rehaussent n'importe quel intérieur. Très confortables, ils ajouteront une touche très bohème et design à votre intérieur.

Berber Rugs & Afghan Kilims
Maintenance is very simple:
• Vacuum regularly without a rotating abrasive brush.
• Rotate the rug from time to time, especially if exposed to sunlight, to avoid uneven discoloration.
• In case of stains, clean with mild soap (such as diluted black soap) and a damp cloth.
• For stubborn stains, use baking soda powder, let it sit, then vacuum.

Wool Textiles (cushions, throws, etc.)
• Never machine wash.
• Hand wash in cold water, without rubbing.
• For optimal cleaning, entrust them to a professional dry cleaner accustomed to artisanal textiles.

Furniture and Decorative Objects
• A slightly damp soft cloth is sufficient.
• Avoid conventional detergents: we use noble and natural materials (raw wood, brass, tadelakt, zellige, etc.), which do not tolerate harsh products.
